The photographs of the construction and renovation of the Imperial Oil Calgary Refinery in the Ogden district of Calgary, Alberta, which date from 1922 to 1943, are rich in views of horse-drawn equipment, steam shovels, rock crushers, Canadian National Railway spur lines, Bow River diversions, and refinery components such as tanks, acid works, stills, condensors, and cracking coils.
