Series 4 Financial records. -- 1886-1915. --30 cm of textual records. -- The series consists of a cashbook for the law office which records money coming in and going out of the office accounts, along with the "particulars" of the transactions; and three volumes of mortgage ledgers, which record the names of the clienst, legal descriptions of the property, terms of the mortgages, and payment details. The mortgage ledgers have alphabetical indexes of client names at the beginning.
