3 | Scrapbooks. -- 1951-1998. -- 4.7 m of textual records and graphic material. -- This series consists of scrapbooks and albums containing photographs, records, newsclippings, and memorabilia of the club’s yearly activities and of Association of Desk and Derrick Clubs regional meetings and conventions hosted by the club. For many years it was customary to appoint a Scrapbook Committee which collected documentation of the year’s activities and presented the scrapbook to the retiring president at the end of the year. Many of the past presidents later donated their scrapbooks to the club for its archives. |
