Captain James W. Brereton and David L. Brereton, Diaries. - 1880-1909. - Consists of: James W. Brereton's diaries telling of life and experiences as magistrate and post master at Cross Lake, Manitoba and Rat Portage, Ontario (1880, 1888, 1889, 1890, 1891, 1892, 1900, 1903 and 1910); two Bibles with notes re Brereton family.; and David L. Brereton's diaries as stockman, Blackfoot Reserve (1907, 1908, and 1909).
